Thomas W Harris ,was born in Tampa ,Florida and raised in the Tampa Bay area where he still resides. Thomas is a self –taught artist who has worked with oils for 35 years and has a style of his own. Thomas and his father spent almost all their free time in lakes and woods in his early years and are reflected in his paintings.  He uses shadowing and glazing techniques to bring richness , depth and atmosphere that captures the subtlety and beauty of nature.
